It operates flights to 48 places including 5 cities in Mexico and 29 states of the USA. Check-in times Ticket counters at the airport may not start working until 120 minutes before the first flight of the day. Though passengers may check-in even 4hrs prior to the departure. The time of opening of check-in counters is available on Frontier Airlines’ website. Baggage allowance One piece of luggage (49 linear inches and 35lbs at most) and a personal item (a laptop, a briefcase, etc.) are permitted. As for checked luggage, only 2 pieces are allowed with linear dimensions of 62 inches at most and weight limit of 50lbs. In case luggage is oversized (over 80 linear inches) and overweight (over 100pls) it’s not accepted. Each piece of excess luggage is permitted for a $50 fee. Change to passenger name or flight It’s not possible to change the name on the ticket but one may change the flight as the ticket valid for 12 months and a passenger may change it into any other destination of Frontier Airlines. When doing this a $100 fee is paid as well as any fare difference. Child fares Children under 2 may travel on an adult’s lap for free. Pet travel 2 animals per each passenger are allowed to be transported on board a plane but as checked-luggage which will cost $100 one way. Service animals make an exception and fly in the passenger’s cabin. Pre-assigned seating: It’s possible to book a seat on the plane 4 months before the flight. Only exit row and bulkhead seats may be chosen on the day of the flight at the check-in. In-flight service On the flights that last more than 1.5hrs snacks are offered.
